Turn your photo collection into a moving story
A collection has two scales: the whole arrangement and the moments inside it. Live Layouts connects them, opening with the composition, travelling between photographs and returning to the complete page.
Start with the collection. Let individual photos have their moment.
A holiday can hold a wide view, a small detail and the person who made the trip memorable. A single layout puts those photographs together. Movement gives someone time to look at a few of them more closely, while keeping the surrounding arrangement as context.
The saved page supplies the shapes, background and framing. A Sunflower gathers the collection into a rounded composition; Classic Spiral gives it an outward path. The arrangement is part of the story before the camera begins to move.
From a saved page to a movie
- Create and save a Photo Collection. On phone, add your photos and open Your layout. Begin with Grid or use Change layout to try another look. Review the framing, then choose Save layout.
- Open Live Layouts from the saved layout. Save or discard any unfinished edits first. For a multi-page collection, choose the saved page you want to use: each movie uses one page.
- Preview the journey. Choose the duration, number of photo highlights and highlight order. Use Play, Pause, Restart and the position slider to inspect the movement.
- Choose Create MP4. When processing completes, use Download MP4 and save the file to your device.
Live Layouts is included with a current Pro or Studio subscription. The Free static export allowance and one-off page purchases keep their existing static-file rights; they do not include movies. See the plan comparison for the distinction.
Choose a pace that gives the photos room
Duration offers 15, 30, 60 or 90 seconds, or 2 minutes. Photo highlights offers up to 4, 8, 12 or 50 photographs. The available time and the number of photos on the page also limit how many highlights fit. Check the selected-photo count beneath the preview rather than assuming every photograph will receive a close-up.
Layout order follows the saved page’s item order. Centre out orders highlights by their distance from the centre. Try both on your composition: a spiral’s visual path and the saved photo order can tell different stories. Check the result if chronology matters.
A shorter movie with a handful of highlights can suit a quick introduction. Give a larger collection more time, or choose fewer highlights so each can settle before the next move. These are creative choices you can judge in the preview.
Keep control of movement and the finished file
Reduced motion keeps a static overview for the chosen duration. The editor also respects your device’s reduced-motion preference; when that preference is enabled, the checkbox shows the device setting and cannot override it.
A movie freezes its saved page, version and options when requested. Changing the preview controls afterwards leaves that movie’s settings intact. Return to the same saved Live Layouts page after a reload to recover recent jobs, cancel a running job or download a completed one. If a request has not been confirmed, use Retry saved request so the app can recover that request.
Download completed movies within 24 hours. A current Pro or Studio subscription is required to access them. The temporary movie job can expire while your saved source layout remains unchanged.
About the example and its photographs
The embedded movies are existing Stickerloom production-pipeline outputs made with approved stock photographs. The saved layout supplies its actual geometry and crops; the movie has not been manually reframed for this article. The example is illustrative, and your result depends on your saved page, photos and options.
These examples use approved scenery photographs from the existing marketing collection. The photo credits and licence record identifies the source collection. The technical specifications describe the current file format, processing limits and temporary-download window.
